8:20 p.m. - 2002-03-02
Yep it is a Saturday!!
Well the day just didn't start out very good. Talk about having a grumpy morning!!! Last night Scott worked Blockbuster. He said he was gonna be home by 10:30. I had even waited up for him. I even had the kids all in bed and it would/could have been a romantic night. Well he wasn't home by 10:30 I ended up falling asleep. He didn't wake me when he got home either.
I woke up at 12:30 and saw that the lights were on. I came out of the bedroom and he was in the living room watching a movie. I just went back to bed. So much for a romantic evenning together.
Well Noah ended up waking up at about 3:30. (I wished that was the first time he had woke up, it was more like the 4th) So he was sounding pretty congested and just didn't want to nurse and was just busy moving around and fussing a bit. So I just got up with him. So here I was up at 4:00am at the computer with my 3 month old. He was all happy and smiling too!!!! It sure makes it hard to be mad when you get the little grins and coos I was getting. He finally went back to sleep at about 5:30. I put him in the swing to sleep since he seemed to have a hard time breathing laying flat.
I went and got a blanket and pillow and went to sleep on the couch. I think it was after 6am before I finally fell asleep.
6:45- Kimberly comes in the living room saying HI MOMMY!!! She is all happy and smiles. I got her to lay back down with me on the couch for about 5 minutes and she was done with that. I told her to go get Daddy. I must have dozed off cuz she came back out and she didn't have her pants OR diaper on. And I told her to go get Daddy again. I am guessing he put the stuff back on her cuz she came out once again. This time I am MAD!!! I go marching back to the bedroom and start yelling! "You were the one that CHOSE to stay up late watching a movie, I didn't CHOOSE to get up at 3:30 in the morning for 2 hours, Noah did!" Scott was like, well you didn't tell me that. Um okay, yeah sure, if I told him ANYTHING in the middle of his sleep he wouldn't have a clue in a million years. So I told him I was going back to bed and HE needed to get up and PARENT!!!!
So I get back into my bed, he shut the door and I went back to sleep. This was about 7:20 I am guessing. I woke up from that time to 8:20 about 4 times cuz the kids were SCREAMING at each other. So much for some nice rest!!!
Never leave a dad to do the morning stuff. He had given them breakfast yes, but I think they had it on themselves more than in their bellys. Kimmy had pink yogurt ALL over the place. She ended up having to have a shower. Andrew was running around STILL in his jammies. He had underwear on rather than the pull up though. (The underwear were UNDER his clothes, why not just get his clothes on, he can dress himself!) Noah had had a blow out and it was all over his jammies and blanket. Scott had taken them off and changes him, but didn't bother to rinse the stuff out or spray it with shout.
There I days I wonder WHY I want him home!!!!
Well that was the morning. All that before 10am. The rest of the day was MUCH better though.
We went to the super walmart to exchange and pick up some stuff. Then we came home and had nachos. Yum Yum Yummy!! We had some nice family time. It felt good to just laugh and enjoy one another.
Scott is working blockbuster again tonight till midnight. So the kids are all sleeping right now and I have a little bit of time to myself. Okay I just had a thought, my dog is gone. I need to fine out where he is..................... Oops. LOL he is curled up on the couch. He is usally at my feet so that kinda scared me.
Kimberly is still sick and still cranky! That girl! Since she turned 2, it is like SHE KNOWS that she is 2 and that 2's are suppose to be terrible! Andrew was NEVER like that. I was blessed with such an easy child the first time around. I can only wonder what Noah will be like.
Noah has come down with congestion now too. :o( He has been spitting up ALLOT today and it worries me. I will see how he does tomorrow and if need be I will take him in on monday. I want the doc to check his soft spot too, that has been really worrying me as well.
Andrew ALSO started with a runny nose this afternoon. He is the one we really have to watch cuz of the allergies and asthma. I don't want to have to be rushing to the ER. And I REALLY do not want him put on prednaslone! That stuff makes him TERRIBLE!!! It is like he can't controll himself and all. I told his doc the next time he puts Drew on that that Drew is going home with HIM!!!
Well anyways. I feel better getting out my morning frustration!!! I really am feeling good tonight. Tired, but good.
We will be deciding on Monday if we are going to take the kids to Blues Clues Live! I hope we do that will be fun!
Well we have to get up early to get ready for church tomorrow I should be getting off.
We had friends of ours from down the street come to church with us last week, that was exciting! I am hoping to see them there again!
